US President Obama has met Silicon Valley leaders, which includes Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Apple's Steve Jobs and Google CEO Eric Schmidt had been also present at the confidential meeting in California.
The president has been looking for the views of technology leaders because he wants to improve his nation's ailing economy. Mr Barack Obama has stated he desires to promote American businesses to invest more money in innovation.
The meeting was also attended by the bosses of Yahoo, Oracle and Twitter. Apple's chief executive Steve Jobs was in attendance, in spite of media information that his physical condition had taken a serious turn. United States paper the National Enquirer published photos, said to be of Mr Jobs, looking withered.
He is presently on his 3rd medical leave of nonattendance from Apple considering since being detected with pancreatic cancer in year 2004. The president’s meeting on Thursday was a confidential event, organized by venture capitalist John Doerr.
