Zero emissions petrol station opens in Dubai

Petrol pump with a ‘clean' twirl inaugurated to the people yesterday in the region of Emirates Hills, which produces half of its energy requirements from renewable sources. Passing vehicles will ultimately stop to fill up their tanks at the station, the Enoc Green Station is a self acknowledged zero discharge station, the 1st in the Middle East.

The station, situated near the Emirates International School, doesn't provide biofuel but convalesces released mist from petrol pumps and tanks and compresses it to fuel inside a specially structured ‘Green Room', as opposed to releasing it to the atmosphere.
